This event is part of the WIKAIKON Teaching 2024 program, a strategic initiative designed to share knowledge and hands-on experience in construction engineering with students. Representing WIKAIKON at the event was Mr. Yassy Iskandar Muda, WIKAIKON’s Marketing Manager, who delivered an in-depth presentation on the company’s flagship project, the Elevated Railway Bridge at Simpang Tujuh Palang Joglo.

The presentation covered all project phases, from production processes to construction methods. Emphasis was placed on innovation, work efficiency, and the application of modern technology. Students were provided direct insights into steel frame welding techniques without bolts, carried out by certified experts to ensure structural strength and quality. Every steel joint was tested using Ultrasonic Test technology to ensure safety and durability. Additionally, students learned about leveraging modern technology to support effective and high-standard project execution.

Participant enthusiasm was evident from the numerous questions raised during the discussion session. Students showed a strong interest in exploring field challenges and the innovative technical solutions WIKAIKON has implemented in major projects.

Fostering Education and Industry Synergy

“Collaboration between industry and education is key to creating innovative professionals ready to build Indonesia’s future,” said Yassy Iskandar Muda. He added, “Through initiatives like WIKAIKON Teaching, we not only share technical experiences but also inspire students to take bold roles in sustainable development. A bridge is not just about connecting point A and B; it’s about building hope and a stronger future for Indonesia.”

Through this program, WIKAIKON continues to demonstrate that synergy between corporations and educational institutions can bring significant benefits to developing quality human resources in Indonesia. WIKAIKON also hopes that this program can establish a strong connection between students and the industrial world, creating a future generation ready to face global challenges.
